Military retirees like you are ideal candidates for the career programs at Arrow Trucking.  Your commitment to service and professionalism are exactly the qualities that make great Arrow All-Americans, professional drivers who are the best on the road.

 

To get you started on your Arrow career path, we offer one of the best driver programs in the industry! Arrow’s unique entry level program gets you on the road quickly, and accelerates pay rapidly so you have a real opportunity to earn big bucks – often more than a lot of companies offer drivers with a year or more experience.

 

To qualify you will need to attend a CDL Training Center. Arrow will be happy to help locate one for you. We require completion of a course consisting of at least 160 hours and a “B” or better grade average.

 

Orientation
After graduation, you will come to Tulsa, Okla., for a one-week orientation (we provide transportation). Arrow provides lodging (which includes breakfast) and lunch each day. You will also earn $40 per day (after the first day), payable the Friday following first dispatch.

 

Road Training
After graduation, you will be assigned a trainer. Training takes approximately 4 weeks, and is a 190 hour program, which is much shorter than most other companies. We choose to keep it short, so it will be an intense training period. This will allow you to get behind the wheel of your own rig as quickly as possible. Road training pay is $300.00/week.

 

Your Own Truck
After training, you will be assigned your own truck. For the first 90 days, you will earn $.34 cpm. After that, you will earn $.36 cpm.
